An urgent message from Rev. Wayne Napier,
Mississippi Conference Disaster Response Coordinator
As of 3:30 PM Wednesday June 9 there are no debris removal teams needed in Yazoo City or County. This is contradictory to the update of last weekend but the situation with the debris and decisions by the Yazoo County Board of Supervisors alleviated the need for debris removal at this time. There is still debris removal needed in Holmes County and I will get updated information out as soon as I have it.

Alter flowers....
The flower calendar has some available Sundays. Please sign up on the bulletin board next to the Pastor's office. Thank you for supporting this wonderful ministry. Please know that as well as adorning the altar each Sunday morning, these beautiful flowers are also delivered to the sick, hospitalized, shut-ins, and nursing home residents.
Thank you...
Thank you seems so small for all the help that I have gotten from Dr. Stonestreet, Veronica, Sam, Matt, Linda, Dimple, Peggy, ReNelda, Dorothy, Will, Rob and so many more since I have started working in the church office. I feel God’s love and help every step of my way.
Thank you again,

Dear St. John’s Family,
Words cannot express to each of you how very much I appreciate all of your calls, cards, visits, food and prayers that you have done for me after my surgery.
I always knew St. John’s was a very close knit family, but you have shown such Christian love I feel God surrounding me through you all. I am healing, doing well and am beginning to get back to myself. I love each of you and am very proud to be a part of such wonderful congregation.
In Christ,
LaDonna

Disciple Bible Study...
The DISCIPLE Bible Study program is designed to develop strong Christian local churches through the in-depth study of Scripture. Through DISCIPLE, persons are strengthened in their faith and guided into service and ministry. Strong, Biblically nourished leadership will help your church grow in vitality and Christian discipleship. Disciple I: Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study takes participants from Genesis through Revelation prompting them along the way to consider their human condition and become better disciples. Each series takes 34 weeks.
We will be offering at least one Discipline I Bible Study this fall facilitated by Veronica Pritchard. If you are interested in participating in this study please fill out a survey form that is located in the narthex of the church or contact Veronica at 453-7597 or veronicapritchard@hotmail.com.
