From the pastor....

For my devotion this morning I read Luke 18. Jesus made quite an impression on a blind man. When Jesus was traveling in Jericho He healed the man of his blindness for free. The man didn’t have to do anything expensive or remarkable; he just called out to Him. Jesus had mercy on this man, when others treated him like an outcast.
The blind man was sitting by the road, when he heard people walking near. They said Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. So the man called out for Jesus to have mercy on him. The crowd hushed his words. This made him shout louder, and it got Jesus’ attention.
When Jesus and the blind man came face-to-face, Jesus asked what he wanted Him to do. Without hesitation, the man told the Lord and Savior that he wanted to see. Jesus told the man to receive sight, for his faith healed him! This man received his sight back; followed Jesus, and praised God, as did the crowd of witnesses.
As you draw near to Jesus today He will ask you a question. “What do you want Me to do for you?” What will you say? What will you believe Him for?
Lord, I want to believe, just like the blind man. I don’t want to give up until you answer me.
